Questions we actually get
Mostly about price movement, stock and warranty. Figures below come from the live catalogue, so they change when it does.
- Why aren't prices shown on the site?
- Because any number we published would be wrong by the time you read it. Flash and drive pricing moves with the ringgit and with global NAND supply, sometimes inside a week, and what you pay also depends on how many you are taking. Send the part numbers and quantities and you get a price that is right on the day it is issued, and that we will stand behind.Build a quotation
- Do you have the stock, or do you order it in?
- We don't hold stock — every order is brought in from authorised distribution, which is how we keep pricing keen instead of funding a warehouse. Of the 55 lines listed, 38 are ones distribution normally carries, so they move quickly; 17 are indent and take longer. Either way we confirm real availability with the distributor before we quote, so a quotation from us means it is actually gettable.
- Do you sell single units, or only bulk?
- Both, but volume is where we are useful. Because every order is brought in rather than picked off a shelf, a single drive costs us the same handling as fifty — so the more you order, the better we can do on price. Integrators, resellers, workshops and IT departments buying for a rollout are the work we are set up for. Tell us the quantity in your request and we will price against it.Build a bulk list
- Can I order by part number?
- Yes, and it is the fastest way. We carry 153 SKUs across 55 product families, each listed with its manufacturer part number. Search the catalogue by part number, or type them straight into the quotation builder.Search the catalogue
- What if you don't list what I need?
- Ask anyway. The catalogue is the lines we list, not the limit of what we can supply — higher-capacity enterprise drives, SAS spindles for older arrays and specific security SKUs are all sourced to order. Send the part number, or the server model if you are matching an existing array.
- What warranty do the drives carry?
- Manufacturer warranty applies, and the exact term is printed on every product page — it varies by line, not by brand. Counting the lines that state one: 5 years on 34, lifetime on 8, 3 years on 6, limited 5 years on 3, 2 years on 2, limited 3 years on 1. Claims run through the manufacturer's programme; send us the part number and rough purchase date and we will help you start it.
- How do I know the stock is genuine?
- Everything is new stock bought through the brands' authorised Malaysian distribution — not parallel imports, not refurbished, not pulls. Serial numbers validate against the manufacturer's own warranty checker, which is worth doing on any drive you buy from anyone.
- Can you invoice my company?
- Yes. We issue a formal quotation you can raise an LPO against, and invoice on delivery. Quote your tender or project reference in the request and it will carry through to the paperwork.
- How do I pay?
- Online bank transfer (FPX), DuitNow instant transfer, Company bank transfer against invoice. Payment details come with the invoice — we will never send you bank details in an unprompted message, so treat anything like that as suspect and check with us on our published number.
- How long does delivery take?
- Lines shown as usually available are typically collected from distribution within 1–3 working days of order; indent lines take longer and we confirm the date when we quote. From dispatch, allow 1–2 working days to Klang Valley and Peninsular Malaysia, and 3–5 working days to Sabah and Sarawak. Drives ship in anti-static packaging; tell us if a shipment is time-critical and we will say honestly whether the date is achievable before you order rather than after.
Something we haven't covered
Ask directly — a real person reads it, and “we don't stock that” is an answer you'll get quickly rather than after three emails.
