Supplying Malaysia's data centre buildout

Johor and the Klang Valley are absorbing an enormous amount of capacity, and every hall that goes up drags a supply chain behind it — contractors, colocation tenants, MSPs, security installers, audit teams. That is the work we quote for.

Where we're useful, and where we're not

We are not a hyperscale procurement channel. If you are populating a hall for a named cloud operator, that stock moves on a global OEM contract and we would be wasting your time. What we do well is the tier around it — the tenant with four racks, the integrator fitting out a suite, the contractor who needs eighty drives on site next week — where buying through a distributor at volume beats buying retail one at a time.

Server boot and in-rack storage

Colocation tenants · MSPs · systems integrators

Boot drives and capacity for racks you actually own. The DC1500B is Kingston's data-centre line — designed for the sustained, mixed workload a boot volume sees, not a desktop drive pressed into service.

Camera estates and facility security

Facilities management · security contractors

A data hall is a camera-dense environment, and cameras write continuously — which kills ordinary microSD. Endurance-rated cards are built for the duty cycle; industrial-grade ones survive plant rooms and rooftop enclosures.

Moving data in and out under audit

Compliance · audit · decommissioning teams

When evidence, backups or key material leave a facility, an auditor asks how it was protected in transit. Hardware-encrypted drives answer that in a line: XTS-AES 256-bit on the device, FIPS 140-3 Level 3 certification pending on the Keypad and D500S lines.

Commissioning and technician kit

M&E contractors · fit-out crews · field engineers

The unglamorous consumables a buildout runs on: crash-cart drives, portable SSDs for images and captures, card readers for site survey footage. Ordered by the box, not the unit.

Working to a project schedule

Buildouts run to dates, and we would rather tell you a lead time is not achievable before you commit than after. Send the bill of materials with your required-on-site date and we will come back with what distribution can actually deliver against it — including which lines are indent and need ordering early.
